Jan David de Planque

Jan David started his career as commodity trader at Cargill in 1984. He later joined Firmenich and worked around the globe – on the Global Executive Flavours Management Team and as Global VP Savoury and Sweet Goods – for over 21 years.

Jan David has in-depth industry know-how and a worldwide network in the fast-growing and innovative ingredients and flavours industries. His understanding of the challenges in finding the right talents for these industries, was the basis of founding True-Capital. With the acquisition of Willem Mock Associates Executive Search in 2016, services expanded to include executive search for agri-commodities business.

Marjolein Knijn

Working for ManpowerGroup for over 15 years, Marjolein obtained an in-depth understanding of recruitment and executive search. Responsible for internal branding at ManpowerGroup, she decided to head in a different direction and obtained a degree in Coaching & Counselling. As Research Associate at True-Capital, she daily applies her search experience, creativity and coaching skills to find just that right fit.

Erik Swens

Erik obtained his Master degree in business law at the Leiden University and started his career at ABN AMRO Bank. Before joining Cargill, he followed the Senior Management Programme at INSEAD. 

He has many years’ experience in executive search for the agricultural commodities, food & feed and ingredients industry. Erik specializes in searches for senior management positions in all areas of trading, sales and marketing for global commodity trading and ingredients companies. 

Prior to joining True-Capital, Erik held several senior management positions within Cargill and NUON.

Gerard Hardeman

Gerard  joined DSM as a Research Chemist. During the 33 years he worked for them, Gerard has been in different positions (on e.g. R&D, Application, Marketing and Project Management). As General Manager he was leading the yeast based Food & Feed Ingredients business for 10 years. He lived 4 years in the USA and spent 6 years most of  his time in China.

Based on his experience at DSM, Gerard has an in-depth knowledge of the food and feed ingredients business. As being a chemist as well as a commercial leader, he can advise on technical, commercial and general management roles.

Jeannette Reurink

Jeannette started her career in a support function at Spencer Stuart in 2005. She joined AMROP Executive Search in 2013, as researcher for the fast-moving consumer and retail industries. At True-Capital, Jeannette focuses on international assignments, mainly in the ingredients and flavour and fragrance industries. Jeannette holds a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Communications.

Marianne Warnaer – van Es

Marianne built up 25 years’ experience in the international food industry. She has strong passion for this industry with focus on healthy & innovative food ingredients, business development, marketing & sales, management and strategic growth. After graduation from Wageningen University she worked in several companies all linked to healthy, innovative and sustainable food ingredients.

Marianne worked at Sensus/Royal Cosun for over 7 years, at Univar in B2B ingredient distribution over 5 years, at Bioriginal/Omega Protein for 7 years and at Avebe for two years. Since 2019 Marianne works at Biomega Group as a Member of the MT and Director of Global Sales.
